Our story begins…

On a stage, somewhere in the middle of England in the late 90s, a band from Los Angeles is playing in front of a crowd. Just when it’s getting good, the lead guitar cuts out. The sound is breaking up, jumping in and out. But the band soldiers on. Frantic, desperately trying to figure out what’s wrong, the guitarist wonders: Is it the amp? A short? He kicks the pedal, then plugs the guitar directly into the amp. Nothing. After flinging the cable out of the way, the amp comes back to life, but the momentum is gone. The lead guitarist vows to never depend upon poorly constructed cables again.

Solid Cables was born the day a frustrated and motivated guitarist named Nial decided to take matters into his own hands. Our handcrafted cables are the result of that promise and we’ve been making the best in the business ever since. As a matter of fact, the first Solid Cable ever made is the one still used to test newly manufactured tube amps on a daily basis.
